Agave lechuguilla Pale Blue

A very attractive form of the normally not so stunning Agave lechuguilla, with narrow, pale blue leaves. Agave lechuguilla is native to New Mexico and western Texas in the U.S. and in Mexico from Tamaulipas south to Hidalgo, where it is found on rocky ground at altitudes between 900 and 2100 m (3000 and 7000 ft.), often carpeting large areas. It adapts easily to cultivation in a temperateclimate and succeeds in a variety of garden environments as long as it has a well drained spot in full sun. It is hardyto severe freezes as well as drought conditions.
